" April fool's day is over and Limoncello's refreshing! " says Jenny, small business owner.
Q: How are things going after temporarily closing?
We have been closed since March 17th and I believe "things happen for a reason and when life gives you lemons we make Limoncello!" We are passionate about our vision to provide authentic fresh Italian food to our community even during this standstill due to the pandemic. My husband and I have been working on our business plan to re-open from home staying safe, healthy and social distancing. The most important change is two-fold. 1) Over 50% reduction in seating. Our seating capacity of 325 guest will be 150 seating capacity, 2) Reservations will be strongly recommended for our guests to assure proper seating. We are taking precautionary measures to keep our team members and environment safe and healthy: 1. Temperatures will be measured each day before staff begin their shift, 2. Hand sanitizers will be placed at each table for use and in front & back of the house, 3. Kitchen area will maintain regulations always wearing gloves and masks as needed. These measures will be posted on our new website for May 2020.
Q: What is Limoncello?
Limoncello is one of Italy's most famous after drink and symbolic to southern Italy and the Coast of Amalfi and Giuseppe's vision for our dream project. Our business plan was approved for funding by the bank based on our success from our last concept. We are blessed since banks usually do not approve SBA loans for restaurants. We extended our building plan to implement catering, host weddings, private meeting and large events. Limoncello was on track and growing steadily with our dedicated team. Our customers love our beautiful restaurant that he created and our authentic fresh Italian cuisine is also my love and passion. Due to COVID-19 and government guidelines shutting down nonessential businesses, Limoncello is one business grossly affected by the temporarily shut down in Las Vegas. Optometrists and dentists alike have also taken a hit in Nevada.
Q: How do you feel about the crisis and Governor Sisolak's order to shut down?
"I am positive and thankful for our government's support and the federal programs available for small business owners. I have applied for all available relief programs for our restaurant business and my practice. I appreciate this time to contribute and bring facts to the forefront. In short, our customers, team and I am especially looking forward to our re-opening with our focused direction and dedicated team again. Cheers to refreshing Limoncello!
